~NEED A RIDE? BeST Transit has General Public Fixed Routes and Shared Rides in Tioga, Bradford and Sullivan Counties. Fixed Route service is open to everyone! Children 5 years and under ride free and must be accompanied by an adult. Senior citizens, ages 65 and older, who are registered in our Senior Transit program, also ride free with their ID card. (Call (272) 424-4044 to get signed up!) “Shared Ride” means that the service is open to the public, if you qualify for one of the programs, but is not a taxi service. The Shared Ride service will pick you up at your door and transport you to your destination. The Shoe Bank will welcome families from 9:30 AM to noon at the First United Methodist Church located at 67 East Wellsboro Street in Mansfield, PA. New sneakers are available for eligible children (up to age 18). Infants up to age 3 can get a pair of new shoes every 3 months and children from 3 years to 18 years can get a pair of new shoes every 6 months. The Mission of the Tioga County Youth Leadership Program is to engage youth to discover and enhance their leadership skills and to strengthen their capacity to work proactively to improve their communities.
